We are OPEN 7 days a week during NSW State school holidays (closed Christmas Eve & Christmas Day)
Join us on beautiful Birubi Beach (end of James Paterson St, Anna Bay) for a 20 minute day ride - NO TICKETS SOLD, NO BOOKINGS TAKEN, JUST WALK IN. Ride prices are $35 per adult, $30 per child, no other concessions. First ride of the day departs at 10am, last ride departs at 3.30pm.

FAQs
Do we need to wear any special clothing or footwear?
No - nothing special, just wear comfortable casual clothing.
What age children can ride on the 20 minute day rides?
Children aged 2 years and up can ride on the day rides. Infants aged under 2 years are not allowed to ride.
Can children ride on the 60 minute sunset trek?
Children aged 10 years and up can ride on the 60 minute sunset trek.
What time is the first ride and last day ride?
First ride heads out at 10am. The last ride departs at 3.30pm. Come along at any time between to enjoy a ride.
How long do the rides go for?
Day rides - 20 minutes - departing approximately every half hour between 10am & 3.30pm. Sunset treks - 60 minutes - departure time varies with the seasons.
Do we take eftpos?
Yes
Is there a weight restriction?
Yes, 130kg per camel
What time should we arrive?
Please arrive no later than 15 minutes before the ride departure time.
Where are we located?
In the lower public carpark at Birubi Beach, end of James Paterson St, Anna Bay. Free parking near to the Camel Ride departure point.
Where do the rides go?
The day ride goes out along the small sand dunes and back along the beach. The sunset trek goes into the higher sand dunes and returns along the water's edge, capturing all the pretty sunset colours.
Can you cater for large groups?
Yes. We can take up to 24 riders at a time.
Can I bring my drone?
No
Can I take photographs?
Yes, on a mobile device or small handheld camera. Staff are happy to take some happy snaps for you on your devices.
Do we operate in bad weather?
We operate in light rain providing the weather allows for the ride to be a pleasant experience. During inclement weather we do not operate.
How many riders per camel?
Two riders per camel for the day rides, usually one rider per camel for the sunset tours.
About Us
Rod Sansom, the founder of Oakfield Ranch, found his love for animals after growing up around Oakvale Farm. A long-time camel and animal trainer, Rod works with horses, carriages, camels and hire for any occasion such as movies, commercials, weddings, school formals anniversaries, birthdays, engagements.
We now provide a wide range of animals for virtually any occasion you can think of.
